The contest provides an opportunity for students to engage with an important area of law while competing for scholarship funding. The Judge Phyllis Kravitch Scholarship application process is online, meaning applicants should go to the website below to complete the application. The Judge Phyllis Kravitch Memorial Scholarship was established by the Savannah Bar Association in tribute to her character, integrity and compassion. The scholarship awards $2,500 to one rising second or third year law school student from Chatham County, Georgia, based on merit. The award granted may be used for tuition, fees, books, and other academic expenses charged by the institution. All applicants who have applied for or will be receiving other financial support must reveal that information with the application. The scholarship is administered by the Savannah Community Foundation and it is now available online via the Foundation’s website at www.savfoundation.org/scholarships.
